Dreaming of my Piano lesson
I lay my head upon my ivory pillow;
Playing the chords of my life so busy;
Eyelids closed dreaming of my lesson;
Nightmares flow my concert confessions;
As I lay upon my notes;
Sleeping snoring songs;
Sometime today I'll arise;
Alas!, black N white keys;
Do now ever so support me;
Dreaming of my 1st concert;
Applause! My muse is a perfect presents;
So sound asleep I know you'll love this;
Sonata resonates keys and beauty notes;
Practiced and played so hard my dreams;
Those dreams of exposure I lay out my composition;
Eyelids closed dreaming of my piano lesson;
Founder’s Notes
Sarafina Scott was born and raised in Jacksonville, NC. She began taking piano lessons at the age of five and carried out those lessons throughout High School. She began playing for her home church at age 16. Sarafina Scott attended Winston Salem State University, where she marched in the band for four years. She is a musical specialist at Z.E.C.A. School of Arts and Technology in Jacksonville North Carolina, where she teaches music to children ranging from grades kindergarten through eighth grade. Sarafina is also the current music director for True Deliverance Worship Center as well as Harrison Chapel A.M.E. Church. Music has been a part her life since the age of 4. Sarafina carries a strong passion for music and an even larger passion for sharing the gift of music with others.
